CLAUDIA ZIEGLER ACEMYAN, PH.D.

I am a human factors/human-computer interaction (HCI) researcher and practitioner. I work for KBRwyle at NASA's Johnson Space Center as the Habitability Discipline Scientist and Subject Matter Expert in the Human Factors and Behavioral Performance section. I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Rice University and have my own consulting business, Post Hoc, LLC. My work focuses on the design and development of usable systems; human factors measurements (including trust in systems); mental models; human error analysis; the designed/built environment; the reduction of risk in systems through user-centered design; and usable security.
